Thermal insulation materials for plant equipment (Click photos to enlarge)
|
Calcium silicate thermal insulation material is a molded inorganic product with an extreme heat-resistant property as high as 1,000℃ in addition to high durability.
Japan Insulation supplies products that meet Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) A 9510, while providing 'U-BRID', a highly heat insulation molded product with an extremely high heat insulating property that even exceeds the JIS heat insulation standard.
We provide products surface-engineered with a water repellent agent that retards the corrosion of metal pipes as well as products with water-repellent heat-retaining materials both inside and outside.
Specially shaped products that fit the intricately curved surfaces of pipe elbows and the curved part of a tank are also available.

Energy-saving and CO2 reduction effects by 'U-BRID' applied on a 600,000kW coal-fired power plant.
Effects determined based on:
- The heart insulating material thickness are the same in both cases.
- One year is regarded as 8,000 hours
- Boiler piping heat insulating material: 5,532m of material with an average inner diameter of 394.5x an average material thickness of 105mm is used.
- Turbine piping insulating material:6,828m of material with an average inner diameter of 183.8x an average material thickness of 59mm is used.
- Calculations are mode only for the boiler and turbine piping.
- Heat amount price is 5 yen/kWh (from heat Insulation JIS Explanation 2006)
