Fire-resistant cladding materials for steel framed buildings
The covering material protects the structural steel (posts, beams, braces, etc.) of steel-framed buildings from the heat of an accidental fire. The covering is an extremely important fire-resistant material, especially for fire/disaster prevention in steel-framed high-rise buildings.
This is the only material that is also beautiful among all fire-resistant cladding materials. The white molded product adds brightness to any space.
The technique using the fire-resistant cladding board ‘TAIKALITE’ has acquired Design No. X307 (at UL263) certification from Underwriters Laboratory in the United States, as well as a variety of fire-resistant structure certifications according to the Building Standards Act of Japan, which is required by Japan’s Fire Services
Act. ‘NEW TAIKALITE’ is lightweight and slim and has acquired fire-resistant structure certifications according to the Building Standards Act of Japan.
Molded curved surface boards for round columns are also available. The boards have extremely precise circularity and offer a beautiful finish to such columns.
